  1.                        ****** Important Installation Info ******

  3.         The VERTEX CLIPPER Library consists of 1 Disc of 720 KB and is
  4.         installed on Your Harddisc by using an installation BATCH 
  5.         program.
  6.  
  7.         In any case You will require at least 4 MByte Discspace to copy,
  8.         unpack and install the Library.
  9.  
  10.     Your Systemrequirements should be:
  11.  
  12.             AT-286 Computer with min. 2MB memory
  13.             Harddisk with min. 4MB Space left
  14.             CLIPPER 5.01 compiler
  15.             BLINKER 1.51       -or-
  16.             WARPLINK Linker    -or-
  17.             RTLINK
  18.  
  19.         To install the Library You should do following:
  20.  
  21.                 1. create a directory on Your Harddisc wherever You
  22.                    want the VERTEX Library installed.
  23.  
  24.                 2. Then change into this directory to make it the
  25.                    CURRENT DIRECTORY OF YOUR HARDDISC.
  26.                    
  27.                 3. Change to Your Floppy Disc A:
  28.  
  29.                 4. Start the Program INSTALL.BAT by entering at the
  30.                    DOS prompt the command
  31.  
  32.                                 INSTALL C:
  33.  
  34.  
  35.                    ( provided Your Harddisc is named C: )
  36.  
  37.  
  38.         There will only be files copied and unpacked. The program will
  39.         NOT CHANGE ANY SYSTEM FILES. Therefore You will have to copy
  40.         the Library to the directory You want to use it in or include
  41.         the new directory in Your PATH.
  42.  
  43.         Please make sure You have read ALL *.TXT files for Your own
  44.         benefit. Also check out the manual for detailed information
  45.         about the Library. Enter the command
  46.  
  47.                                 SHOWME
  48.  
  49.         to have the manual displayed on the screen. The F1 key will then
  50.         give You more information on using the display program. You may
  51.         also use the program to display all other TEXT files provided
  52.         by using the syntax:
  53.  
  54.                                 SHOWME README.1ST (shows this file)
  55.  
  56.         You may also print a file by using the display program. Should
  57.         You be the proud owner of a HP-Laserjet, a Laserjet compatible
  58.         printer or an EPSON printer of the LQ series there are already
  59.         formattet manuals on the disc which You may print by using the
  60.         DOS PRINT command. Extract these files by starting the program
  61.         MANUALS.EXE; be aware though that You may need 1.5 MBytes of
  62.         discspace to unpack these files.

  80.                         PRINT HPLJIII.PRN
  81.         
  82.         to print the manual on a HP-Laserjet III.

  84.         Should You have any problems printing the manuals, remember that
  85.         You can use the SHOWME.COM program to print an unformatted manual
  86.         on A4-paper
  87.  
  88.         and please don't forget:

  90.         THIS PROGRAM IS SHAREWARE!!! PLEASE SUPPORT THE SHAREWARE IDEA BY
